Setup
10 am to 5 pm

Inventions will be grouped by grade, school, and then student last name. Student location assignments and maps will be provided at check-in.  Some schools will set up as a group. Contact the student's teacher for more information.

Exibitor Expo
10 am to 6 pm

Free and open to the public! 

Bring the family and enjoy all the fun activities at the 2012 BI-LO Invention Convention. 

Get fit with the BI-LO Wii Fit Challenge and play The Price Is Right Game! 

Game Truck will be stationed outside the BI-LO Center with lots of fun video games.  Check out WSPA Channel 7's Weather Forecast TV Station booth.  Play the D1 Sports Scavenger Hunt to win a great prize! 

See how you score at the Greenville Drive's batting cage.  Decorate your own t-shirt at the Purple Tuna Tees booth.  Enjoy some refreshingly cold milk from PET Dairy. 

Best of all, check out the HUGE display of creative inventions from over 1,500 local kids in grades 4-8! Don't miss this great event!

One school with the most boostersplus points will win a $1,000 donation, presented by BI-LO Charities.


Judging
6 pm to 8 pm

Although not required, students are encouraged to be available during judging as their presentation is part of the judging criteria.



Wednesday, February 29, 2012

Awards Ceremony
6 pm to 8 pm

The ceremony will take place at the BI-LO Center.  There will be a special performance by Kylie Hinze, who will sing the national anthem prior to the ceremony.




Invention Removal
7 pm to 8 pm

All inventions must be removed from the BI-LO Center on Wednesday, February 29th, by 8:00 p.m.  The tables will be removed after the BI-LO Center closes on Wednesday evening, and any inventions that are left will be disposed of.  BI-LO Center, BI-LO Corporate, and Clear Channel Media + Entertainment are not responsible for inventions left after 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
