Clear Channel Media is pleased to present once again our annual Invention Convention.  The 2012 BI-LO Invention Convention promises to be even BIGGER and BETTER!

We are so proud to announce that BI-LO has agreed to be our title sponsor again this year.

Once again, we do need your help.  We need volunteers to help judge this amazing event.  For only a few hours, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in an event that benefits the children of the Upstate.

What is the BI-LO Invention Convention?

The BI-LO Invention Convention is a huge, learning-based event open to all students in grades 4 through 8.  The students think of, create, and showcase an original invention.  All inventions are on display at the BI-LO Center for everyone to see.  That’s where we need you!

What do judges do?

As a judge, you and a partner will be assigned an area of student projects to examine and score.  It is all laid out, step by step, on a one-page judging form.  You’ll be designated a group of projects from the same grade.

What is the schedule like?

Your services will be needed for Tuesday evening, February 28th, from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  We’ll have a casual information session from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., where you’ll receive all your information as well as enjoy hors d’oeuvres.  Judging will take approximately two hours.
